Rozitta is a seasoned tourism marketer with 25 years of experience in the tourism industry. She is passionate about Sustainability and Responsible Tourism Development and have completed a Masters Degree in Geography and Environmental Studies at the University of Stellenbosch. She believes that educating the various communities and tourism stakeholders on Responsible Tourism will lead to a better social economic environment for locals. One of the greatest vehicles to achieve this is through the film industry. The ITFF Africa has the potential to encourage more film makers to tell the story of Africa, our incredible natural environment, our culture and off course our people. She works for the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town in the capacity of Tourism Marketer and her portfolio includes building and nurturing relationships with various tourism authorities and stakeholders; and to connect people with opportunity. Some of her achievements includes being part of the development team of the Cape Town Cruise Terminal, setting up a tourism department for the V&A in partnership with her then manager, and growing the Sustainability portfolio and awareness of it through various platforms. She has represented her company at various international roadshows and tradeshows and uses storytelling to get the message across effectively. She is looking forward to contributing to the ITFF Africa in a meaningful way by sharing her knowledge and encouraging further growth of the tourism film industry.
